Party At The Park, Newport’s premier retro music festival, is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated return on 19 July 2024. Taking place at the picturesque Tredegar Park, this year’s event promises to be a sensational celebration of the 80s, 90s, and 00s, featuring an incredible line-up of iconic artists.

Prepare to take a nostaglic trip as Party At The Park welcomes chart-topping sensations B*Witched, Lamar, Martin Kemp, Artful Dodger, Shola Ama, Big Mac’s Wholly Soul Band, Odyssey, The Marley Experience, and special guest Earth Wind & Fire Experience ft  Al Mckay. With such an impressive roster of talent, attendees can expect an unforgettable experience filled with nostalgia and timeless hits.

Coinciding with the 25th anniversary of their self-titled debut album (1998) – featuring the global smash hit C’est La Vie – B*Witched released their first single in over two decades. The group climbed to the top of the UK charts with their debut single before making waves overseas and landing their first Top 10 hit in the US. Follow-ups Rollercoaster, To You I Belong and Blame It On The Weatherman all hit No. 1 in the UK, making it a full house from their debut LP.

Veteran, Grammy Award winning and multi-platinum recording artist Al McKay has a long history of creating songs that feel good to the body and soul. The former Earth, Wind & Fire guitarist teamed with group founder Maurice White to pen the band’s seminal hits “September” and “Sing A Song” and honed his chops playing with Ike & Tina Turner and Sammy Davis Jr

Party At The Park is organised by Escape Records, the driving force behind Wales’ most prominent music festivals, including In It Together Festival, Inside Out, Colour Clash, and the beloved Escape Festival. Over the years, Escape Records has brought some of the biggest names in music and entertainment to Newport, solidifying its reputation as a hub for exceptional live performances.

Party At The Park is poised to captivate its hometown once again. Tredegar Park, located in the heart of Newport, provides the perfect backdrop for this extraordinary event, offering a vibrant atmosphere and stunning surroundings.

Party at the Park is set for another incredible year and will take place on 19 July 2024 at Tredegar Park.
